Throw Out Two Handsby Anthony Smith This is a wonderful account of an idea and the trip that followed travelling around Africa in a hot air balloon. It sounds idyllic and peaceful, but it is also fraught with danger. "We were 6,000 feet above a caustic lake, and nearly 10,000 feet above sea level. The wind had virtually failed, and on all sides the huge puffy giants of thundercloud, the cumulo nimbus of Africa" the author tells us on the first page. A great read, funny
