The ruby have an open back where the diamond are flat chips with a closed back. The gold setting has lovely scalloped detailing on either side of the gemstones. The ring has a number of hallmarks indicating the piece was hallmarked in 1894 in Chester, England from 18ct gold by G. P. The ring is conformable to wear and can easily sit with other rings.
